This Privacy Policy explains how WaitAds, operated by G Varshith (sole proprietor, Udyam Registration UDYAM-TS-05-0059350), based in India, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, VS Code extension, and services (collectively, the "Service"). WaitAds is currently available only to users in India.

Summary: We collect the minimum data needed to operate an ad marketplace — your account email, country, and estimated ad-impression activity — to pay developers and bill advertisers. We never modify Anthropic's software, and we do not sell your personal data.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, and Google account identifier when you sign in.
Location/country: we determine your country from your IP address to enforce our India-only policy.
Usage and impression data: estimated active-time of the agent, used to compute estimated ad impressions and earnings.
Payout details: for developers requesting withdrawals, your UPI ID or bank account details.
Advertiser data: for advertisers, wallet balance, campaign content, and payment references.

2. How we use your information

To operate the WaitAds marketplace and serve sponsored lines.
To calculate estimated impressions, earnings, and advertiser charges.
To process advertiser wallet top-ups and developer payouts.
To enforce our India-only restriction and prevent fraud.
To communicate with you about your account and respond to support requests.

3. What we do not do

We do not read your source code, prompts, or the content of your Claude Code sessions. We do not modify Anthropic's extension or software. We only read and write the officially exposed spinnerVerbs setting, and we back up your original settings before any change. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Razorpay. When you make a payment, your payment details are handled by Razorpay under their own privacy policy and security standards. We store only transaction references, not full card or banking credentials.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Service — for example, our database/auth provider (Supabase), our payment gateway (Razorpay), and IP geolocation services. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain account, impression, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, accounting, and tax purposes. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
